A smartphone packed for the today’s data hungry internet generation, that’s MTS Blaze 5.0 Android Smartphone from Indian CDMA based telecom operator MTS India. The smartphone features 5 inch display, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 8 MP camera and most importantly 100,000 MB free data usage with a validity of up to one year.
MTS Blaze 5.0 is a EVDO CDMA + GSM dual-SIM smartphone that comes bundled with a MTS SIM card. It got a 5 inch full touch display, powered by a 1.2Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Quad Core Processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It got a 8 megapixel autofocus camera on back with flash and a 0.3 MP front camera for video calling. The smartphone comes with minimal internal storage but can be expanded up to 32GB using microSD cards.
On the connectivity front the Blaze 5.0 supports MTS CDMA based network that offers high speed data upto 3.1 mbps along with 2G, WiFi and Bluetooth. The smartphone also comes with gravity, proximity and light sensors providing enhanced user capabilities. On the software side the device runs on Android Jellybean V4.1 which seems to be one of its downside.
MTS has added some creative features or apps to the smartphone like Piano Lock, MTS Playground – a music app that lets the customers download and listen to their favorite songs, MTS TV – that enables customers to stream over 100 TV channels on their Smartphone and MTS Wizard – that enables customers to activate their phone, pay phone bills online, customize it and do a lot more.
Now the free part, customers buying MTS Blaze 5.0 will get 100,000 MB free high speed data usage in MTS network with a validity of up to one year on their first recharge of Rs 198.
