A completely new all-metal unibody design, a blazing-fast processor, lots of memory to work with, two advanced cameras and 4G VoLTE connectivity. That’s the new Moto M android smartphone from Motorola India or the parent company Lenovo. It’s also the first Motorola smartphone to support Dolby ATMOS and fingerprint reader.

As for the pricing, Moto M got a price tag of Rs 15,999 which is for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant. Whereas the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant go all way up to Rs 17,999. Both Moto M variants will be available exclusively via Flipkart starting 14th December 2016. As a launch offer, you can get flat Rs 1000 discount when purchasing the mobile using Citibank credit card. You can get additional Rs 2000 exchange bonus on your old smartphones. You will also get an option to buy Moto Pulse 2 headset for just Rs 499 at flat Rs 1000 discount.

Coming back to Moto M, the mobile got an all-metal unibody design with rounded corners and narrow edges. The mobile comes with P2i water-repellent nano-coating that helps your mobile from accidental splashes or spills of water. The smartphone flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD IPS LCD display with 2.5D curved glass and a pixel density of 401ppi. Under the hood, the mobile comes with a 2.2 GHz octa-core MTK Helio P15 64-bit octa-core processor coupled with Mali T860 MP2 GPU.

For your intense multitasking, the mobile comes with 3GB of RAM with 32GB internal storage or the higher variant with 4GB of RAM with 64GB internal storage. The Moto M got a hybrid slot where you can either use for dual SIM or for one SIM and a microSD card. You can extend the storage up to 128GB using microSD card.

On the photography side, the Moto M comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera. It features f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF). On the front for selfie lovers, the mobile packs an 8-megapixel camera with fixed focus and large pixel. For audiophiles the mobile Dolby Atmos powering the rear speakers.

Connectivity wise the Moto M got 4G LTE supporting all Indian 4G bands along with VoLTE for HD voice and video calling. Other connectivity options include 3G and 2G networks along with WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 and USB OTG support. The mobile runs on Android 6.0.1, Marshmallow operating system with almost stock skin. For that extra protection, the mobile comes with a fingerprint sensor placed below the back camera.
