A special edition of the recently launched Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus has been unveiled in India. Motorola India the Lenovo-backed mobile vendor has launched the Moto G5S Plus android smartphone. What makes it different from other Moto devices launched in India is the dual 13-megapixel rear camera. Other than this, the mobile features a Snapdragon SoC, full HD display, front camera with LED flash and 4G with VoLTE support.

Motorola will be launching the Moto G5S Plus exclusively via Amazon India. As for pricing, the mobile get a highly competitive price tag of Rs 15,999. You will able to purchase the mobiles starting at 11.59 PM on 29th August 2017. For colour choice, you get to choose from Iron Gray and Blush Gold. There will be some exclusive launch day offers like extra Rs 1000 discount on exchanging your old moto phone, No cost EMI option on all credit cards, 80 percent discount on Amazon Kindle app and Moto Sports headphone at Rs 499. In addition, you will also get up to 50GB of additional data from Reliance Jio.

Design and Performance

Moto G5S Plus is a beautifully build device with an all-metal unibody design. It has startling resemblance Moto Z2 Play and other Moto G5 variants. To protect the mobile from accidental water splashes or rain it’s covered with water-repellent nano-coating inside out. The mobile flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD 1920×1080 display with a pixel density of 401 ppi and protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Camera and Extras

Coming to the main highlight of Moto G5S Plus, the dual 13-megapixel rear camera. One 13-megapixel camera sensor is for capturing RGB colour photos and a second 13-megapixel sensor for capturing Monochrome shots. It also features a 3D Depth sensor which is backed by an enhanced software for depth of field effects. Other features include f/2.0 aperture, colour balancing dual LED flash, 8X digital zoom for photos, Auto HDR and 4K Ultra HD video capture. Up front, for selfie addicts, the mobile packs an 8-megapixel camera. The selfie camera comes with a wide-angle lens, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, helping you to take those low-light selfies.

As for connectivity, the Moto G5S Plus supports 4G LTE that works with every Indian telcos 4G band. The mobile also supports VoLTE for making HD voice and video calls.
