Along with the more budget-friendly Evok Power, the Indian mobile vendor Micromax has launched another smartphone under the Evok series – the Micromax Evok Note. On a quick look, the mobile boasts a metal premium design, full HD display, octa-core processor, expandable storage and most importantly 4G LTE with VoLTE support.

First, to the pricing, the Micromax Evok Note will come with a price tag of Rs 9,499. As with every Evok series, the mobile will be available exclusively through Flipkart.

Design and Performance

The Micromax Evok Note got a premium design with its all-metal unibody architecture. The mobile flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD IPS 1920×1080 display with 2.5D Cover Glass over the top. Under the hood, the mobile is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 450 MHz GPU. This combination offers a seamless multitasking and gaming performance.

To store all your media content the Evok Note carries 32 GB of internal storage. You can further expand the storage up to 32GB using microSD card. The mobile comes with a Hybrid Slot, which allows you to either have dual SIM or one SIM with one microSD card.

Photography and Performance

As for photography, the Micromax Evok Note boasts a 13-megapixel autofocus back camera. It also features LED flash support for taking brighter pictures. In front, for selfie addicts, the mobile carries a 5-megapixel fixed focus camera. The camera can shoot videos at full 1920 x 1080 at 30 frames per second.

For connectivity, the Micromax Evok Note supports 4G LTE network that works with every Indian telcos 4G band. In addition, the mobile also supports VoLTE, which allows you to make HD voice and video calls. Other connectivity options include 3G and 2G network support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth v4.0. The phone runs on a bit old Android v6.0 Marshmallow OS with minimal skin over the top.

For extra security, the Evok Note comes with a fingerprint scanner embedded in the front home button. In addition, to store your valuable data the mobile got a high-grade Security Chip. The inbuilt SecureVault helps you to hide your private documents, photos, and files. Finally, the mobile is fueled by a big 4000 mAh battery that can easily last for a day.
