A beautiful 18:9 full vision display for seamless multitasking and for long hours of media consumption. Indian mobile vendor Micromax has launched a new android smartphone under its Canvas series the Micromax Canvas Infinity. As the name suggests the mobile has an almost infinite display with smaller front bezels and body part. Other than the gorgeous display the mobile features Snapdragon SoC, 3GB of RAM, 16MP intelligent camera, expandable storage and 4G LTE with VoLTE support.

Micromax Canvas Infinity is priced at Rs 9,999 and will be available exclusively via Amazon India. The first sale will happen on 1st September 2017 and will come with various launch day offers. This includes Rs 250 cash back on Amazon Pay, free 5 Kindle e-books and up to 30GB extra 4GB data from Reliance Jio. In addition, the mobile will come with 24 hours service promise from Micromax. Here, if your mobile is not repaired within 24 hours, the company will provide a replacement within next 24 to 48 hours.

Full vision display

The main USP of Micromax Canvas Infinity is it’s 18:9 full vision display. The same display that has been mastered by LG on its LG G6 and recently launched LG Q6. The mobile flaunts a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS full vision 720×1440 display covered up in the 2.5D glass over the top. The increased screen real estate offers more space for multitasking and enhanced split screen functionality.

Under the hood, the Micromax Canvas Infinity is powered by a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. To store all your photos, videos and media content the mobile carries 32GB of internal storage. You can further expand the storage up to 128GB using microSD card in the dedicated card slot.

Camera and Connectivity

Coming to photography, Micromax Canvas Infinity focus on its selfie front camera. The mobile comes with a 16-megapixel intelligent front-facing selfie camera. It features advanced image processing, f/2.0 aperture and selfie flash support. Some advanced features of the camera include real-time bokeh effect where you can blur the background while taking your beautiful selfies. With auto scene detection the camera app can automatically choose from different camera modes like Night mode, Portrait mode and HDR mode. While on the back of the device we have a 13-megapixel camera. It features Super Pixel, Auto HDR, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash support.

Coming to connectivity, the Micromax Canvas Infinity support 4G LTE network that will work with every Indian telcos 4G band. You also get 4G VoLTE support for making HD voice and video calls. Additional connectivity options include 3G and 2G networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and OTG support. The mobile comes to life with the latest Android Nougat OS with minimal skin over the top. For extra security, the mobile comes with a fingerprint scanner placed on the back of the device below the camera. Finally, to fuel the device, you get a 2,900mAh battery. The battery can last up to 420 hours on standby or up to 6 hours of video playback or 20hours of talk time.
