Now if you own a Mahindra vehicle, then you are on the bright side of the tech. Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd part of the Mahindra Group has unveiled Mahindra DiGiSENSE, a platform that helps the vehicle owner to track their vehicles and provide other vital information on a real-time basis 24×7.

The DiGiSENSE platform will be available for the entire line-up of Mahindra’s vehicles, which include Cars, tractors, trucks and construction equipment. One need to subscribe to the service, which will cost between Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000 per vehicle.

DiGiSENSE means digitally enabled sensing which effectively utilizes the cloud-based technology platform. It provides the vehicle owner with vital information about their vehicles on a real-time basis. This includes the location tracking, route planning, vehicle health monitor, trip optimization, machine hour operations and more.

With the platform, drivers can instantly contact emergency during a breakdown. Whereas service teams can remotely diagnose and monitor the vehicle’s health and productivity parameters, on a real time basis.

So what’s included in the unit? The DiGiSENSE unit or connectivity control unit (CCU) include a SIM card with a data plan and GPS. This unit will send the vehicle position and other information to DiGiSENSE cloud in real-time.

In DiGiSENSE cloud the information received from different connectivity units is securely stored and processed. This processed data is then passed to the vehicle owner and service team when required.
