Another day, yet another affordable android smartphone from LYF. The Reliance Retail’s subsidiary consumer electronics arm LYF has launched a new smartphone under it’s Wind series – LYF Wind 7.

First, to the pricing, the LYF Wind 7 would cost you around Rs 6,999 and available on Reliance Digital, Digital Xpress Mini, and other third-party retail stores across India. As a added bonus LYF smartphones come with 24 months extended the warranty, so you got a lot of time to play around the device.

Now down to the mobile specification, the LYF Wind 7 flaunts a 5-inch HD IPS display with a pixel density of 294 ppi and protected by Asahi Glass. Under the hood, the mobile got a 1.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm SnapdragonTM 210 MSM8909 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and Adreno 304 GPU.

For storage, the LYF Wind 7 comes with 16GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB using microSD card. As for photography the mobile packs an 8-megapixel camera on the back with HDR mode and flash support. On the front, the mobile got a 5-megapixel camera.

Connectivity wise the dual SIM LYF Wind 7 comes with true 4G with support for all Indian 4G bands along with VoLTE for making HD voice calls. Other connectivity options include 3G and 2G network support, WiFi and Bluetooth. The mobile runs on android lollipop 5.1 operating system with almost stock UI and preloaded with all Jio apps.
