I had to deal with this issue when my friend bought a few second-hand PC hardware components for his net cafe. Among the components were motherboards, graphic cards, sound cards, and web cameras from different vendors and most of them were 3-4 years old. When we began to set up the PC’s, we found that none of the components had their driver installation discs with them. So we began to surf through the vendor sites for the drivers, however it was a tiresome procedure. Finally, I found out a free software that would download the latest drivers for the “unidentified devices”.

PROBLEM

Lost or damaged driver installation disc (of products like motherboards, graphic cards, sound cards, and almost all peripherals). The solution is also applicable when the vendors provides a disc with outdated and buggy drivers. Mentioned here are some paid and free tools which will automate the process of downloading the drivers.
