When tablets are slowly fading out in the presence of bigger display smartphones, the Chinese mobile vendor Lenovo has quietly introduced it’s newest tablet – Lenovo Tab 7 in India.

The Lenovo Tab 7 packs an average hardware on a bigger display. You get a MediaTek SoC, dual SIM, voice calls over LTE and GSM, expandable storage option and Android Nougat OS that’s upgradable. The tablet is priced at Rs 9,999 and is available exclusively via Flipkart.

For those looking for maximum video entertainment and multitasking needs, the Lenovo Tab 7 is the perfect gadget for them. The tablet flaunts a 6.98-inch HD IPS 1280 x 720 display that’s perfect for watching movies and playing games. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM and ARM Mali-T720 GPU.

For storage, the Lenovo Tab 7 carries 16GB of internal storage. You can further expand the storage up to 128 GB using microSD card. The tablet runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with a custom skin over the top. However, Lenovo guarantees Android 8.0 Oreo update for the tablet in the coming months.

For photography, the Lenovo Tab 7 sports a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. For audiophiles, the tablet comes with Dolby Atmos support. On connectivity, the tablet has dual SIM capability with dual standby support. The device supports 4G LTE networks that work with every Indian telcos 4G band. Other connectivity options include 3G and 2G networks support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and OTG Support. Finally fueling the whole device is a 3500 mAh battery that company claims to offer up to 10 hours of video playback.
