Keeping up with the trend for dual-camera setup, Lenovo has launched its big phablet – Phab 2 Plus in India. On a quick glance, the phablet features a 6.4-inch FHD display, 13-megapixel primary dual-camera, 3GB of RAM and 4G LTE with VoLTE support.

The big phablet got a somewhat affordable price tag. The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus is priced at Rs 14,999 and available exclusively via Amazon India. As a launch offer, Amazon is adding a JBL hybrid earphones powered by JBL Pure Bass technology with the box.

So what’s packed in the big phablet? The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus got an all metal aluminum alloy unibody design. The phablet flaunts a 6.4-inch full HD wide-view IPS display with a pixel density of 344 ppi and protected by 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass. The extra big display is perfect for watching videos, reading books and anything that needs a bit more room.

Under the hood, the Lenovo Phab 2 Plus is powered by a 1.3 GHz 64-bit MediaTek MT8783 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. This combination offers immense multitasking capabilities and true gaming experience. To store all your photos, videos and documents the phablet comes with 32 GB internal storage option. The storage can be further expanded up to 128 GB using microSD card.

Now the most attractive part of the phablet, the dual-camera setup. The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus comes with dual 13-megapixel f/2.0 aperture rear cameras featuring Fujitsu Milbeaut image processor, 1.34 big pixel, laser focus, PDAF support, and dual-LED flash. The phablet uses one camera to capture the photo and other to adjust the depth. You can also work with the refocus, defocus, and bokeh effects using the dual-cameras. On the front for selfie lovers the phablet carries an 8-megapixel camera. It features 75-degree wide-angle lens, f/2.2 aperture and 1.4 um Big Pixel.

Connectivity wise the dual-SIM Lenovo Phab 2 Plus got 4G LTE supporting all Indian 4G bands along with VoLTE for HD voice and video calling. Other connectivity option includes 3G and 2G networks along with WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. The phablet runs on Android 6.0, Marshmallow operating system.

For extra security, the phablet comes with fingerprint scanner placed right below the rear dual-camera setup. Another big feature is the Dolby ATMOS support offering cinematic audio experience with immersive sound. Also, the Lenovo Phab 2 Plus comes with Dolby Audio Capture 5.1 that lets you record audio with 360-degree surround sound. It also features 3 built-in microphones and 360-degree noise cancellation.
