Lenovo has launched ‘K6 Power’ a power-packed android smartphone in India. The smartphone offers 2-day battery life, fast octa-core processing, stunning 5-inch display, Dolby Atmos-powered speakers and VoLTE support. The phone even packs a fingerprint scanner for extra security.
On to the pricing, Lenovo K6 Power comes with a sub-10K price tag of Rs 9,999. The smartphone will be available exclusively via Flipkart. The open sale will commence at sharp 12PM on 6th December 2016. Flipkart will be packing a slew of launch offers, especially for the smartphone.
Back to the ‘Kickass power’ smartphone, Lenovo K6 Power main attraction is its large 4,000mAh battery. The company claims the battery to last smoothly for two days. The battery is capable of delivering on an average 48 hours of usage time on 4G LTE network, 11.8 hours web browsing time on 4G network, 13.6 hours of video playback and 96 hours of music playback. In addition, to save more power during low battery charge, the mobile comes with a power saving mode called ‘Ultimate Power saver’. This effectively cuts the network data and stops background running apps, but keeps the main functionality like phone calling and messaging active all time. The company claims these power saving mode can boost up the normal battery life up to three times.

Impressed by the battery? the Lenovo K6 Power got a premium build with its metal unibody design. The smartphone flaunts a 5-inch full HD IPS display with 178-degree viewing angles and 441 ppi. Under the hood, the smartphone runs on 1.4 GHz oct-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 505 GPU.
For storing your media files the Lenovo K6 Power comes with 32GB of onboard storage. This can be further expanded up to 128GB using microSD card. On to the photography side, the mobile comes with a 13-megapixel camera on back featuring Sony IMX258 sensor, PDAF and LED flash support. On front for selfie lovers, the mobile has an 8-megapixel camera with wide-angle lens and features Sony IMX219 sensor.
Connectivity wise the dual-SIM Lenovo K6 Power got 4G LTE supporting all Indian 4G bands along with VoLTE for HD voice and video calling. Other connectivity option includes 3G and 2G network support along with WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 and USB OTG. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0, Marshmallow OS with Vibe UI on top.
