The Handset that works in HSPA technology can give more speed above 3.2mbps while as WCDMA can give the user to browse at just 384 Kbps. Look there is a difference between a HSPA and WCDMA . When buying a handset make sure it is HSPA enabled one not a WCDMA enabled handset.

At Present , BSNL and MTNL are providing 3G services @ India . Private players like Airtel, Aircel ,Vodafone etc are not able to grab pan-India licenses in the 3G auction . Hope the operators will be with BSNL or any other network to provide 3G roaming to its customers .
Tata Docomo enters the raise as the first telecom service provider to offer 3G services in all its 9 circles on “Diwali”, Nov5th. Now Aircel have launched its experience zones @ Chennai and @ Coimbatore to speak more about 3G services . Airtel have added up saying that will be launching its 3G services by the end of 2010 and Vodafone also stated it will be launching its service by quarter 1 of 2011 .
