Google on its special Indian Election portal (Google.com.in/election)will be offering live video streaming of election results through YouTube. For this the company has partnered with leading Indian news media’s including IBN Live, Headlines Today, Times Now, NDTV, Boom News, Gateway House, NewsX, DD News, Rajya Sabha TV, News Laundry, TV9, Sun News, Firstpost, YouthKiAwaaz and several others. Users can also live stream their favorite regional news channels under English, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati and Tamil languages.

Along with this Google has also added an interactive map where users can view the election results in a real-time basis. This election results are powered by Nielsen India who fetch this data directly from Election Commission of India in realtime.

Free 2 days access to Airtel Pocket TV

India’s top telecom operator Airtel has announced free access to its Pocket TV application for its pan India prepaid and postpaid customers, enabling them to live stream their favourite news channels to catch all the action of election on their mobile.

To activate the service, customers need to send SMS POCKET to 54325 and then download the Pocket TV application on their mobile. The offer is valid for two days, which includes 15th and 16th May 2014.
