Bringing up more choices for the first time Android buyer, India’s third largest telecom operator Idea Cellular has launched !d 4000 – a dual SIM, dual core, 3G smartphone priced affordably at Rs 4999. In addition Idea has packed the smartphone with free 3G data packs thus virtually making it a steal deal.

Idea !d 4000 features a 4 inch WVGA TFT display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels. It’s powered with 1Ghz Dual Core processor coupled with 512MB RAM. It carries 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB using microSD cards. On the back it got a 3.2 megapixel camera that can shoot video at 30fps. On the connectivity side the device has dual-SIM capability with 3G and 2G network support, along with WiFi and Bluetooth v4.0. On the software side the smartphone runs on an outdated Android Jelly Bean v4.2 operating system and we doubt there may be any update for that.
