After numerous leaks, HTC has finally launched its 2016 flagship smartphone – HTC 10. Featuring powerful Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, 5.2-inch QHD display, 12MP camera and the new BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition speaker.

Sadly for us HTC has also launched a toned down, less powerful variant HTC 10 called the HTC 10 Lifestyle which will probably be launched in India instead of the original flagship device.

The power of 10

Coming back to the original HTC 10, the mobile got a sophisticated dual-textured finish with a full glass front that seamlessly merged into the metal body. Still the smartphone weighs just 161g in hand.

HTC 10 flaunts a 5.2-inch Quad HD Super LCD 5 display, that company claims to be 30 percent more colorful and 50 percent more responsive than its predecessor and carries a pixel density at 564 ppi. Under the hood, the mobile got a 2.2GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 4GB RAM.

One can shoot 4K videos using the smartphone that also comes with world’s first stereo 24-bit Hi-Res audio that captures 256 times more sound detail across twice the frequency range.

On the front, the HTC 10 got a 5-megapixel camera that has ultra-wide angle lens along with OIS and a screen flash for that perfect selfie.

On the connectivity side, HTC 10 got enhanced 4G LTE support along with usual 3G and 2G network support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and USB Type-C port. For extra security, the mobile boasts a fingerprint sensor embedded into the physical home button up front.
