Concerned About Highway Safety? Interact with Minister for Road Transport & Highways on Google+ Hangout

Following the path of his colleague and Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram recent live interaction with citizen’s on Google+ hangout, Dr. CP Joshi will interact live with people and take their suggestions on highways safety. This live interaction is an extension of the Ministry’s IT initiatives to connect with people of the country. Ministry of Road Transport and Highways will be organizing this Citizen Dialogue on experimental basis to make Highways Safety an all-inclusive mission.

Those interested in participating in the Hangout can submit their suggestion on Ministry’s official website (www.morth.nic.in) or post on Ministry’s social media accounts Facebook, Twitter (@MORTHIndia) and Google plus page. In addition Ministry for Road Transport and Highways will also be available through online video platform Youtube.

With Internet reaching far and wide, the Ministry aims to reach out to a larger section of audience and gauge their feedback. The minister’s conversation with people will expedite the process of inclusion of people’s voice in policy making. This feedback will be there in public domain and users can engage online. Once any idea reaches a critical mark of 5000, it will be brought to the notice of concerned officials.
