Eva, the AI-based chatbot of HDFC Bank will now work with Google Assistant on every supported Android device. You can start a conversation with ‘Eva’ just by saying ‘Ok Google, talk to HDFC Bank’ to Google Assistant.
“The Google Assistant rollout will make the bank’s services accessible to even more customers right on their phones,” said Nitin Chugh, country head-digital banking, HDFC Bank, said in a statement.
“We’re excited that HDFC’s Eva’ chatbot now works with the Google Assistant, where millions will now have access to banking-related information,” said Monisha Varadan, strategic partner development manager, Google.
You could take help of HDFC Bank’s ’Eva’ via Google Assistant for any banking-related information. Like, you could ask Eva for a particular HDFC Bank’s IFSC code or current interest rate on FD or RD.

HDFC Banks’s AI chatbot has been built by Bengaluru-based Senseforth AI Research. The chatbot can handle over 50,000 semantic variations for thousands of banking related intents. It can then track and analyse everyday customer issues and gains a deeper understanding of their behaviour patterns.
