Everything was going as planned, overwhelming promotions from Google and Indian online retailers inviting customers to India’s Greatest Online Shopping Festival (GOSF) 2013. But just as the clock tick to 11th December 2013 the official GOSF website went down with an ‘internal server error‘. After an hour of server down the website came up with a totally broken countdown clock (-1 days and counting) and just minutes later the website went down again due to some technical error.

Still the official GOSF website (www.gosf.in) seems to be not loading fully and now redirecting to a sub-domain of the original website developers Oss Cube (gosflive.osscube.com). Google India acknowledged the issue and tweeted early in the morning regretting the downtime and said the site will be up soon. The shopping festival will end only on 13th December 2013.

Google's Greatest Online Shopping Festival 2013 off to a Muddy Start

With this slippery start, one can now access the original GOSF 2013 website through Oss Cube’s sub domain (gosflive.osscube.com). From the website users can choose two option to browse around the online deals – Shop the deals and Browse by style. Shop the deals takes the user to a comprehensive list where they can choose from different categories ranging from Automobiles, Electronics, Healthcare, Apparels, Telecom, services along with others. Browse by style allow users to choose a style ranging from – the fashionista, the stylish guy, the business man/women, the world traveller, the student/grad, the homemaker, the techie, the kids and finally the new mom. Under each style one will find pre-sorted products selected by Google that may be interesting to the users and that can also be filtered to their needs.
