Bigger is always smarter, seems to be right in the case of Nexus line-up. Google has officially launched the next generation Nexus smartphone or phablet – the all new Nexus 6. Featuring a bigger 5.96 inch AMOLED display, powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 13 megapixel camera, 32GB/64GB internal storage and most importantly running on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Google Nexus 6 is built by Motorola and its a stretched out version of the newly launched second generation Moto X. The smartphone packs some of the best and powerful hardware currently available along with the latest Android operating system.

Google Nexus 6 spots a 5.96 inch QHD AMOLED display with a brilliant screen resolution of 2560×1440 pixel with 16:9 aspect ration and has 493 ppi. With this bigger screen one can enjoy movies, play games and browse flawlessly. Under the hood the smartphone is powered by 2.7GHz Quad core Krait 450 Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SOC processor coupled with 3GB RAM and Adreno 420 GPU. This whole package brings lightning fast multi-tasking and immersive gaming experience. It will be one of the most powerful smartphone available in the market.

On the rear the Nexus 6 got a 13 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization and dual LED ring flash that offers great photos in daylight and low light. On the front the smartphone got a 2 megapixel camera with HD video support. The smartphone will offer immersive stereo sound with its dual front-facing speakers. On the storage side the Nexus 6 comes in 32GB or 64GB internal storage variant and as always with no expandable storage option. On the connectivity side the smartphone support 4G LTE (Indian 4G LTE band currently not supported), 3G and 2G networks along with WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC support.

On to the pricing, Google Nexus 6 has been priced at $649 for the 32GB model in US, so we can expect it to be priced around Rs 38,000+ in India and will be available from last week of October 2014.
