Finally the much-anticipated Android smartphone from the Google owned company Motorola unveiled – the Moto X, bringing in custom personalized experience under a mid-range hardware specification. With a 720p 4.7inch display, 1.7Ghz dual-core CPU, always on Microphone, 2000 Customization options and much more under the retail price tag of $199.

Moto X focus on personalized users experience instead of stuffing in high-end hardware on the smartphone. With more than 2,000 possible combinations, users can choose the colors, and decide on every details like front, back, rings around the camera, side buttons, accents, memory, wallpapers, even add a name or a short message through an online studio, Moto Maker. Every custom-made smartphone will be assembled in USA and ship to the users for free with in 4 days.

Another exclusive feature is that the Moto X will be always listening to you with the always on Microphone that will respond to users voice with no touching necessary. While saying ‘Okay Google Now‘ it will get activated and using it user can search on Google, check weather, get directions and much more. With Active Display, instead of constantly blinking light while receiving a notification , Moto X will display information on the screen quietly with only certain pixels on while the rest of the screen is off. Another feature is the Moto X’s Quick Capture camera that will quickly launch the camera with a flick gesture and include various customizable option.

On the hardware side Moto X spots a 4.7 inch AMOLED HD 720p display, powered by 1.7Ghz dual-core Motorola X8 custom processor with 2GB RAM. It has a 10 megapixel shooter on rear with LED flash and capable of shooting 1080p video at 30fps and on the front it got a 2 megapixel camera. It comes in  16 GB and 32GB internal storage, but lacks expandable storage using microSD card. It runs on Android 4.2.2 mobile OS but as it’s a Google company you can be sure it will be upgraded to latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean within couple of months.
