India’s top e-commerce platform, Flipkart forays to the hyper-competitive android smartphone market with its Billion brand. The first android smartphone under this brand being launched in India is the Billion Capture+.
Flipkart’s Billion Capture+ packs every major feature of a top-selling device into one powerful device. The mobile features dual camera set up, FHD display, Snapdragon chipset, stock Android OS and 4G VoLTE support.
Going first by pricing, the Flipkart Billion Capture+ will retail at a price tag of Rs 10,999 for the 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage variant. Whereas, the higher memory variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage gets a price tag of Rs 12,999. Both this variant will be available to purchase only from Flipkart starting 15th November 2017.
Those worried about the service of the mobile, Flipkart has set up Billion’s 130 service centres in 125 cities and towns across India.
Flipkart Billion Capture+ Specs
What’s packed inside the beast? The Flipkart Billion Capture+ sport a metal body with easy to hold edges. For colour choices, you get to choose from Mystic Black and Desert Gold. The mobile flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD 1920×1080 pixels display with a pixel density of 401ppi and covered in 2.5D Dragontrail glass on top. Under the hood, you get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor paired with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM.
For storing your media content, the Billion Capture+ comes with either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. You can further expand the storage up to 128GB using microSD card. The phone runs on almost stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS with pre-built Flipkart app. The company also guarantees early OTA upgrade to the new Android Oreo.
Now to the best part of Flipkart Billion Capture+, the dual camera setup at the back with two 13-megapixel sensors. One of the sensors is for capturing photos in RGB or in colour and the other sensor for capturing monochrome. It packs additional features like dual tone flash support, PDAF, super night mode and Portrait Mode. Well, you can surely capture those photos with bokeh effect or background blur effect. For selfie lovers, the mobile packs an 8-megapixel front camera.
Coming to connectivity, the Flipkart Billion Capture+ boast 4G LTE network that works with every Indian telcos 4G band. You also get 4G VoLTE support for making HD voice and video calls. Other connectivity options include 3G and 2G network support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB Type-C port. For extra security, the mobile comes with a fingerprint scanner placed at the back of the device. Finally, fueling the device is a 3,500mAh battery that features Quick charge.
