If you have a BSNL Broadband or landline connection you may probably be taking advantage of the Free Night calling time offer. Under this, you were able to make unlimited free voice calls to any network across India between 9 PM to 7 AM every day.

Starting, 1st January 2018, BSNL is revising and also reducing its free night calling timings. The telco has revised the Free Night calling time from existing 9 PM to 7 AM to now 10.30 PM to 6 AM every day. That’s a reduction from earlier 10 hours of daily unlimited free calls to 7.30 hours.

BSNL landline users get Unlimited free calling to any network on all Sundays

On Sundays however, the telco still offer unlimited free calling to any networks under the ‘Freedom Offer’. But there have been reports that the telco may soon end the Sunday unlimited free calling offer for all its users. As a start, the telco has already withdrawn the Sunday free calling scheme for existing and new customers in Himachal Pradesh telecom circle.

BSNL revises Free Night Calling Time
  • Free Night calling time from existing 9 PM to 7 AM has been revised to 10.30 PM to 6 AM.
  • The new timing applicable to all existing and new BSNL Landline/Broadband/Combo & FTTH Customers.
  • Revised Free Night calling time comes into effect from 1st January 2018 pan India.

The revised Free Night calling time is applicable to all BSNL Landline, Broadband, Combo and FTTH Customers across India. Do note that, the free night calling is applicable to certain BSNL Broadband plans, especially the unlimited plans above Rs 499. So, if you are on one of this Broadband plan, would suggest to check with customer care before making those lengthy phone calls.
