If you are one of those mobile users who is using Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) as the primary source internet then, here some good news for you. The government-owned telecom operator has revised the freebies for some of its popular Data STVs.
The newly revised BSNL’s Data STVs are now on par with private telcos data plans. The telco has essentially added more data benefits along with extended validity in this Data STVs. The price of this Data STVs starts at Rs 198 and goes all way up to Rs 4498. Most of this Data STVs now offer unlimited data benefits with up to a year-long validity.
Starting with the lowest monthly data plan, BSNL 198 Data STV now offers 1GB of data per day along with free caller tune for a period of 24 days. The same data STV earlier offered only 2.2GB of data benefits for the entire 21 days validity. Similarly, the Rs 292 Data STV which earlier offered 3.5GB of data benefits for the entire 30 days validity, now comes with 1.5GB data per day and free caller tune. But here, the validity has been reduced to 25 days.
The Rs 549 Data STV which earlier offered 10GB of data for 30 days, now comes with 2GB of data per day for 60 days. Similarly, the 561 Data STV now comes with 1GB per day and free caller tune for 80 days.
Coming to yearly data STVs, the Rs 1949, Rs 2798, Rs 3998 and Rs 4498 Data STVs offer unlimited data benefits with up to 2GB per day FUP limit. Once you hit the daily FUP limit in this Data STVs, speed is limited to 40kbps for rest of the day. Except the Rs 1949 Data STV, all other Data STVs have a validity of 365 days. The Rs 1949 Data STV comes with a validity of 300 days.
