BSNL introduces New Rs 68 Data STV offering 1GB 3G Data

Thought of having more data for watching more of your favorite YouTube videos by paying less. India’s govt owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) introduced new 3G Data STV for Rs 68 that offers 1GB of 3G or 2G data usage.

The new Rs 68 3G data STV offers pan India prepaid customers with 1GB high-speed 3G data usage with a validity of 10 days. One additional usage above the free 1GB limit customers will be charged around 2 paisa per 10KB.

Currently this new 3G data STV been introduced as a promotional offer for a period of 60 days, starting from 1st April 2015.

This increased data offering with lower price, seems to go according to BSNL plan to reduced 3G data rates by around half after its strategic phase 8 network expansion.

Update – BSNL reduced the validity of the Rs 68 STV plan from existing 10 days to 5 days while the 3G data limit will remain the same.
