Along with broadband plans, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced a hike in the fixed monthly charges of various landline plans. The price hike is in the range of Rs 4 to Rs 30 per month and would effect seven of its popular landline plans.
The revised tariff on BSNL landline was shared by BSNL Odisha and Kerala telecom circle. The hike in fixed monthly charges of BSNL landline is not limited to a particular telecom circle but would be applicable on a pan-India basis. This revised fixed monthly charges for BSNL landline plans would come into effect from 1st August 2020.
BSNL Landline revised Fixed Monthly Charges
Starting with the base BSNL landline plan, the SUPER VALUE BSNL CUL or Rs 129 plan will now carry a fixed monthly charge of Rs 149, a hike of Rs 20 per month. Similarly, the GENERAL FMC 180 RURAL BSNL landline plan with a monthly rental of Rs 180 has revised to Rs 199 per month.
The same goes to GENERAL FMC 249 URBAN, were the fixed monthly charge of Rs 249 has revised to Rs 279, a hike of Rs 30 per month. The VALUE ALL CUL BSNL landline plan will now come with a revised monthly rental of Rs 329, a hike of Rs 30 per month from its original rental of Rs 299.
Then comes the SPECIAL FMC 495 BSNL landline plan which sees a very slight hike in its fixed monthly charge from Rs 495 to Rs 499. Finally, the SULAB WITH Rs 120 INCOMING ONLY BSNL LL plan fixed monthly charge has revised from Rs 120 to Rs 150.

For VIRTUAL-99-ASEEM BSNL plan the fixed monthly rate has not been changed, but the validity has been reduced from 6 months to 4 months. It’s a plan where you can get a virtual landline number and you can forward all the incoming calls to this number to a mobile or landline number of your choice.
