Postpaid subscribers are usually the last one’s to get any offers or discounts, even after months of announcing an offer for Prepaid subscribers. Changing that, Indian government owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) seems to be flooding Postpaid subscribers with promotional offers. After offering almost ten times more 3G data benefits on existing postpaid voice plans, the operator has now announced double data benefits on all existing 3G data add-ons.
In addition to the revised 3G data plans for Postpaid subscribers, BSNL has also launched three new 3G data plans. Out the three the new Rs 365 annual 3G data add-on plan offers subscribers 5.1 GB of 3G data benefits with a validity of 365 days. There is a catch, you can use only up to a maximum of 425 MB of 3G data per month with additional data usage getting you charged.

BSNL Postpaid 3G data Add-ons
Coming to the monthly 3G data add-on plans. On the lowest side, if you subscribe to the Rs 50 3G data add-on you will now get 500 MB of 3G data benefits instead of 250 MB. The Rs 75 3G data add-on now offers 1GB of 3G data benefits instead of earlier 500 MB. If you are a data-savvy person then the Rs 501 3G data add-on which earlier offers 5 GB of data now comes with 10 GB of 3G data benefits.

BSNL Postpaid 3G Unlimited data Add-ons
BSNL has also revised the fair usage policy (FUP) limit on the unlimited 3G data add-on plans. The Rs 240 unlimited 3G data add-on plans which earlier cut the speed at 2GB now comes with 3GB FUP limit. After you reach the FUP limit you can still enjoy unlimited mobile internet but with a speed limit of 80Kbps.

The revised 3G data add-ons will be available for pan-India BSNL postpaid mobile subscribers. The above revised 3G data add-ons are available from 1st March 2017 to a promotional period of 90 days. The data add-ons monthly charge may vary telecom circle to telecom circle. So, check the pricing of the data add-ons for your telecom circle before subscribing.
If you are a prepaid BSNL customer, then the operator recently started offering up to four times extra 3G data benefits on several of its existing 3G data STVs. This offer essentially brought down the overall cost of 3G data to industry lowest Rs 36 per GB. One of the most popular 3G data STV of Rs 292 will now come with four times the 3G data benefits or 8GB of 3G data benefits.
