Own a Zeta meal card and need to stock up your monthly grocery purchase with ease then head towards Amazon Pantry. Amazon India has started accepting Zeta meal cards on its store. You could use the Zeta cards (Master card or Rupay card) to purchase groceries and other items from Amazon Pantry.
Note that, Sodexo card added to Zeta won’t work with Amazon India. Your employer needs to provide the meal coupons directly to your Zeta account/Zeta meal card. Then you could use the meal balance using Zeta Super card for purchasing groceries from Amazon Pantry.
You could use your Zeta meal card balance on most of the categories in Amazon Pantry. These include food, snacks and beverages, cooking essentials, laundry and detergents, household cleaning, diapers and wipes, baby bath and skincare, haircare, shaving and oral care, soaps and body wash, makeup, feminine hygiene, deodorants and perfumes, Family Nutrition, Pet supplies, Health products and other groceries.
Note that, Zeta meal card or Zeta Super card would work only on purchase of grocery items on Amazon Pantry. If your cart has other items in it and you try to check out, the transaction would fail.
Those who may not know, most companies provide meal allowance to their employees. This allowance get credited in the form of Zeta meal card, Sodexo Meal Card and Paytm Food Wallet. It also has tax benefits, as you could save up to Rs 12,000 a year.
One could use their meal allowance added to the above meal cards or food wallet to purchase meals from restaurants or even groceries from local Kirana stores (which accepts the meal card) or through online stores (like Swiggy, Zomato, Grofers, BigBasket etc).
