Don’t test the power of a Malayali! Amazon India got into trouble with its new billboard placed in one of the busiest streets of Bangalore.

The billboard from Amazon India displays some people pushing a break-down bus on its new ad campaign with a tagline saying “We Indians Love Helping”. But unfortunately, the bus shown in the ads seems to be a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSTRC) owned one.

Amazon India in trouble with its Billboard insulting KSRTC

This has sparked anger among the people from Kerala, who says this is disrespect to KSRTC’s bus service and are now campaigning against Amazon India on company’s official social media accounts to remove the billboard. Amazon India’s official Facebook [facebook.com/amazonin] and Twitter [twitter.com/amazonin] accounts are now bombarded with trolls from KSRTC fans and Malayalis.

Here are some comments from Amazon India’s facebook account –

Amazon India support staff has responded back to the comments saying “we are sorry you feel that way. We have shared the response with the appropriate teams internally so they can review and take action appropriately.”
