Want to get rid of the conjunction in the network and need a much better internet speed on your device. If you are an Airtel customer then download the new Airtel Hangout, a Wi-Fi app that allow you to seamlessly connect to Airtel’s Wi-Fi zones across the country. Currently in beta, Airtel Hangout is available across eight locations in Delhi/NCR region with more location to be added soon.
Airtel Hangout basically allows you (or Airtel) to shift the data traffic from its mobile network to it’s own WiFi zones, thus helping to avoid conjunction or slowness in the network and you will get better speed on using the internet.
Once downloaded, Airtel Hangout will ask for validation of your Airtel account to start the session. Once validated, every time you are near an Airtel Wi-Fi zone the app will automatically connect (if you have given consent to auto connect else you will get notified) to the WiFi network and you can start using the internet routing through it. There is no special plan for Airtel Hangout, as customer needs to have an active 3G or 4G data pack subscribed in their account. The WiFi data consumption is charged from the same data pack itself. In addition, the app will also help you locate and get directions to nearby hotspots.
To get started Airtel is offering a free quota limit of 25 MB per day per device for any users across mobile operators having Wi-Fi compatible devices. After the 25 MB quota, the WiFi network will be exclusively available to Airtel customers.
