Re-booting up its content strategy, India’s top telecom operator Bharti Airtel has partnered with one of India’s top on-demand video streaming service provider Hotstar to bring the latter’s entire content portfolio on Airtel TV app.
Essentially, Airtel subscribers using Airtel TV app would able to freely stream the entire catalogue of TV Shows, Movies and Live TV from Hotstar. You get free premium access to around 22 Live TV channels including Star TV channels, TV Shows and more than 3000 movies.

It also has a rich catalogue of every major sports event in India covered live including the upcoming IPL 2018. Priced at Rs 199 per month Hotstar premium subscription brings all the exclusive and latest TV Shows like ‘Game of Thrones’ and others.

You won’t need a separate premium access to Hotstar, as the entire catalogue will be made available on Airtel TV app. You can now freely stream 350 plus Live TV channels and close of 10,000 popular Indian and International movies and TV shows. The best part, Airtel TV app is free (as a promotional offer till June 2018) for both Prepaid and Postpaid subscribers pan-India.
How to access Hotstar on Airtel TV
- First, you need to be an Airtel customer to gain access to Airtel TV app.
- Download the latest version of Airtel TV app and Hotstar app on your Android or iOS device.
- Sign in to your Airtel TV app, from where you could browse the entire video catalogue of Hotstar.
- Clicking on any of the videos will open up Hotstar and you can continue viewing the video or Live TV.
