To stop losing its valuable postpaid customer base to competition and to keep up the tariff plans on par with its prepaid offers, India’s leading telecom operator Airtel has announced rental discounts for its Postpaid customers.
Airtel is now offering up to Rs 100 discount on its myPlan Infinity Postpaid plans. The best part, the rental discount is valid not for one or two months, but for a period of six months. This also makes its postpaid plans more attractive to new customers which now boasts a slew of attractive features.
Each myPlan Infinity Postpaid plans offer unlimited voice calls (without any FUP limit), 100 SMS per day and massive data benefits with data rollover scheme. You also get a big entertainment pack in the form of free Amazon Prime subscription and premium access to Airtel suite of apps.
Starting with the base myPlan Infinity Postpaid plan of Rs 399, Airtel is offering a rental discount of Rs 50. Thus brings down the monthly rental of the plan to Rs 349 for the next 6 months. For every other myPlan Infinity Postpaid plans including Rs 499, Rs 799 and Rs 1199, Airtel is offering a flat Rs 100 rental discount. Thus, the monthly rental of these plans has come down to Rs 399, Rs 699 and Rs 1,099 respectively.

Do note that, the rental discount offered by Airtel on myPlan Infinity Postpaid plans are valid only for six months. Also, the discount is valid for existing Airtel Postpaid customers subscribed to any of these plans.
