Airtel Launches Self Care Service for Prepaid Mobile Customers

Are you a prepaid mobile user and wished you had a simple one-stop online solution to access and manage your account online, without calling customer care everytime? Your wait is over! Bharti Airtel, India’s top telecom operator, announced the launch of India’s first online self care services for its prepaid mobile customers across pan India. With this, prepaid mobile customers on Airtel can now log onto www.airtel.in to access and manage their mobile accounts – anytime, anywhere. This service is made available as per the TRAI directive for service providers to improve customer service which was announced last month.

Just like postpaid customers, now prepaid mobile customers on Airtel can easily manage their accounts online by logging onto www.airtel.in. ‘Prepaid My Account’ is a simple, secure and convenient way for Airtel prepaid mobile customers to access a whole host of functionalities including checking balance, recharging, starting / stopping VAS services, provisioning 3G, raising and tracking service requests, viewing last 5 recharge details etc. Airtel prepaid mobile customers can visit the new self care website to receive and activate customized offers on ‘my airtel, my offer’ (MAMO), view tariff & top up options, request for the itemized bill and more.

The launch of online self service capabilities for Airtel prepaid customers is one of the company’s ongoing efforts towards delivering the best customer experience in the digital space and empowering customers with a convenient, non-intrusive and 24×7 available way of managing their prepaid mobile accounts.
