Wonder, when the recent data tariff cut from Airtel for Prepaid customers, would reflect its high-valued customers or the regular paying Postpaid mobile customers?
Wait now more, India’s top telecom operator Airtel has cut the data tariff on several popular 4G and 3G data plans for its Postpaid subscribers. The company now offers up to 50 percent more data benefits on its Postpaid data packs.
Earlier for its Postpaid customers, Airtel introduced two new myPLAN Infinity Postpaid plans. This plans offered unlimited free voice callings to anywhere and to any operators network in India along with bundled 4G or 3G data benefits.
Coming back to the new data tariff changes, the smaller 4G/3G Postpaid data plans that offered 500MB and 1GB data benefits remain unchanged. The increase starts at Rs 450 4G/3G data plan that now offers 3GB of data benefits instead of 2GB. Similarly, Rs 650 and Rs 850 4G/3G data plan now comes with increased data benefits of 5GB and 7GB respectively.
For more data heavy Postpaid subscribers, Airtel has cut down the price for 10GB 4G/3G data plan from Rs 1500 to now Rs 1000. This effectively reduced the 4G/3G data rates to Rs 100 per GB of data. Also, the Rs 1500 and Rs 2000 4G/3G data plan comes with 15GB and 20GB of data benefits respectively.

The new Airtel 4G and 3G data packs are available for pan-India Postpaid customers. They can subscribe to the new data plans directly from MyAirtel app or via Airtel website.
