Join one of India’s widest 4G network which has now expanded to more Sates and Cities. India’s largest telecom operator Bharti Airtel has rolled out its 4G LTE services in Bihar and Chhattisgarh. The operator has also further expanded its 4G services across more cities in Gujarat.
Airtel 4G services have been rolled out in Bihar starting with Patna, Gaya, Siwan, Motihari and Bhagalpur towns. The operator has used dual spectrum bands of 1800 MHz (FD-LTE) and 2300 MHz (TD-LTE) for offering its high-speed 4G LTE services.
In Chhattisgarh, Airtel 4G services have gone live in Raipur and Bilaspur towns. Here telecom operator has used its FD-LTE technology in the 10 Mhz of 1800 Mhz band for the 4G LTE roll out.
After the initial roll out the 4G LTE network in Ahmedabad, Airtel has further expanded its 4G services in Gujarat. New towns with Airtel 4G include Vadodara and Anand. The operator is using spectrum band of 1800 MHz (FD-LTE) for its 4G services.
Airtel 4G roll out highlights
- Airtel 4G services are now available in 19 telecom circles.
- 4G data plans are available at 3G prices and all customers can get one-time 2GB free 4G data with the U-SIM upgrade.

As a launch offer, Airtel is offering 10GB of high-speed 4G data benefits for Rs 249 on prepaid and Rs 250 on postpaid. The promotional offer is valid when you purchase a new 4G smartphone. On recharge with the above plan, your account will be instantly credited with 1GB of 4G data benefits. For rest of the promotional 9 GB of 4G data benefits, you need to claim it through MyAirtel app.
One can recharge for the promotional 4G data plan three times within 90 days period. So you will get 30GB of high-speed 4G data benefits for three months at Rs 747.
If you are looking to further discount on 4G data plans, Airtel has introduced 4G data cutter packs, which essentially cut down your 4G or 3G data cost by around 70 percent. In addition, the company has come up with Rs 1495 mobile data pack, that offers unlimited 4G/3G data benefits for a period of 90 days.
