Yahoo is modifying the the face of their mail (Yahoo Mail)  accepting the challenge in market. market. Google is giving strong competition to them in market.Additionally facebook is launching their mail service very soon. New yahoo mail has  email, chat, SMS, and social updates  facilities in it. The competition environment become more vigorous with commencement of new email services.In order to retain their position in competition scenario they are changing their face now itself.
