Xiaomi expands Offline Retail Presence with Just Buy Live and Innocomm tie up

Xiaomi through its offline presence will sell all of its current line-up of android smartphone including Redmi 2, Redmi 2 Prime, Redmi Note Prime, Redmi Note 3, Mi 5 and the latest Mi Max. The prices of its smartphones will be same as the online pricing.

We are primarily an e-commerce company and we have brought our learning from the online model to our offline model. We have chosen Just Buy Live and Innocomm because of their unique models that distribute directly to retailers,” commented Manu Kumar Jain, India Head Xiaomi. “I believe that this strategic alliance will strengthen Mi India’s presence across India. As we expand to more than 5000 offline outlets, it allows more people to experience our products and purchase them easily,” he added.

Just Buy Live follows a unique operation model that allows retailers, shopkeepers, and big corporates to purchase directly from its e-commerce platform. This help mobile vendors to cut out several distributors in between and sell their products directly to the consumers.

On the other hand, Innocomm focuses on a direct-to-retail model where it sells product directly to customers via a single distributor.
