Internet full vasool! Bringing high-speed internet at a super affordable rate to the masses. The Indian telecom operator Telenor has rolled out its 4G services with the innovative LTE technology in Dehradun (UP West telecom circle), Guntur and Rajahmundry (Andhra Pradesh telecom circle).

This rollout adds to the earlier 4G LTE network launch in four cities of Andhra Pradesh telecom circle. Telenor has also launched its 4G service in five other telecom circles including Uttar Pradesh (east), UP (west), Gujarat, Bihar & Jharkhand and Maharashtra.

Telenor 4G rolls out in Dehradun, Guntur & Rajahmundry, 4G data packs starts at Rs 11

As the motto of Telenor, the company offers affordable data packs under its 4G LTE network. The 4G data packs start as low as Rs 11 which comes with 100MB 4G data benefits with a validity of one day. You can get 1GB of high-speed 4G LTE bundled data benefits for Rs 149 with a validity of 28 days, which also comes with added voice benefits of 25 paise per minute on all local and STD voice calls.

For data-heavy users, there is a 2GB bundled 4G data pack which will cost Rs 249 with a validity of 28 days and comes with the same voice benefits of Rs 148 4G data pack. For all 4G data packs, after the free bundled data usage, you will be charged 4 paise per 20KB.

To activate a 4G data pack, customers can dial 1925 from their mobile and select option 1 or simply type ‘START’ and SMS to 1925. Make sure you swap your old SIM for a 4G enabled USIM by visiting any of Telenor Store near you.

Telenor is offering 4G narrow-band LTE network under its 1800 MHz spectrum, which generally offers lower downloading speeds (yet, you can get around 6 Mbps to 10 Mbps) compared to other telcos who use 5 MHz spectrum for their 4G.
