Google Video is shutting down its hosting services as of the end of this month. Their video search engine will still function after that date.
Google video users have until May 13 to download any videos they’ve uploaded to the site before they are removed permanently.

On May 13, 2011 videos that have been uploaded to Google Video will no longer be available for playback. We’ve added a Migrate to YouTube link to the Video Status new window page, which will allow you to easily migrate your video to a linked YouTube account. In addition, we’ve added a Download link, so you can download any video content you want to save. If you don’t want to download your videos, you don’t need to do anything. (The Migration and Download features will be disabled after May 27, 2011.) Read more
Google video began as an experimental service on the side and as a stop-gap measure to compete with YouTube. Later in 2006, Google acquired YouTube and since then Google Video’s fate has been in limbo. Since 2009, they stopped accepting new uploads.
