Expanding Asha Touch family of mobile devices, Nokia announces Asha 310, the first Asha smartphone with Swap Dual SIM capability and Wi-Fi connectivity. The Asha 310 is priced around $102 (Rs 5500 aprox.) and will be available in Asia, India, the Middle East, Africa and Brazil from Q1 2013.

Nokia Asha 310, uses the easy Swap Dual SIM technology designed to make swapping between different SIM cards as easy as possible. The main SIM card sits behind the battery and the second SIM on the side of the phone which allows easy switch of second SIM, without needing to switch off the phone. Nokia has an inbuilt SIM manager that can assign unique profiles for up to five SIM cards and define which SIM card user want to use for calling, sending text messages or for using Internet data.

Asha 310 got a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 400×240 pixels resolution. It packs a 64 MB Internal memory and 128 MB Mass memory, also supports up to 32GB with MicroSD memory card. It supports GPRS/EDGE, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP support and  Micro USB 2.0 connectivity. It host the full range of Nokia apps like Nokia Xpress Browser which compresses data by up to 90 per cent saving money and time, Nokia Maps and Nokia Nearby web app which point out the local sights and places to go. Nokia will also pack 40 EA games which include classic blockbuster Tetris to high-octane racer Need For Speed worth Rs 2,700 onto the phone for free.
