As a relief Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched its official mobile app – IRCTC Connect for Android devices.

IRCTC Connect offers quick way to book railway ticket anywhere in India on the go. One can quickly login with their existing IRCTC account, search and book train ticket, cancel tickets, add and edit passenger list and do more.

IRCTC Connect allows you to easy login with your existing IRCTC website credentials or you can also create a new IRCTC account directly from the app. It offers a simple, yet modern user interface similar to its next generation booking platform. One can easily search trains running between station on a particular day. They can check the seat availability, fair rates, running time, railway stops and book the train ticket right from the app. It offers all the payment gateway options available on IRCTC main website including Debit Cards, Credit Cards and Net banking.

One of the main highlighted feature of app is that, one can book Talkal train ticket through it. Users can also make PNR enquiries, check booking status, cancel tickets and more.

IRCTC Connect app is available for free download from Google Play store for all Android smartphones and tablets.

Earlier IRCTC partnerd with Microsoft to launch its official App for Windows Phone and Windows 8 devices. It provided users another channel to book railway e-tickets and offered anytime, anywhere access to IRCTC services.
