For the past 12 weeks we’ve been in field trial, and during that time we’ve listened and learned a great deal. We’re nowhere near done, but with the improvements we’ve made so far we’re ready to move from field trial to beta, and introduce our 100th feature: open signups. This way anyone can visit google.com/+, join the project and connect with the people they care about.”
Google+ launched in July as a invite only service, and it attracted more than 20 million visitors in its first month. Day by day the social network seems to be get more popular among users and large amount of traffic.
Recently Facebook has launched a number of features, that challenged Google+. Hope the opening up of signup to all and also bringing lots of new features may help them to fight the social war. Google plus also launched lots of new features including the much awaited developers Api.
