With Hangouts you can watch YouTube videos with friends, collaborate on Google Docs, or play games by adding apps from the menu on the left. If you have a slow internet connection, just switch over to ultra low bandwidth mode to keep the conversation going. You can also start or take part in a hangout while you’re on the go on your mobile using the Google+ app for Android and iOS.

To use Hangouts, click on the hangout button at the top of the chat list in Gmail.  So why wait? start a Hangout with your friends.
