After the successful introduction of Zenfone Android Smartphone series in India, Asus has now bring its popular Asus Fonepad 7 (2014 Edition FE170CG) Android tablet to the Indian market. The dual-SIM, 3G voice calling tablet comes with Intel Atom processor along with Asus’s ZenUI on top of Android and priced at Rs 8,999.

Asus Fonepad 7 (2014 Edition) tablet spots a 7 inch  LED Backlight WSVGA display with a pixel density of 169ppi. The device is powered by 1.2 GHz Intel Atom Multi-Core Z2520 Processor with Intel Hyper-Threading Technology along with 1GB RAM. Thus offering fast and responsive web-browsing as well as smooth play of HD videos and games.

Asus Fonepad 7 tablet launched in India for Rs 8,999

The tablet got 4GB and 8GB internal storage variants and can be expanded up to 64GB using microSD card. On the rear it got a 2 megapixel camera with Auto focus and support 720p Video Recording. On the front it also got a 0.3MP VGA camera. The device comes with front speaker with SonicMaster technology that produces amazing audio. On the connectivity side the tablet has dual-SIM capability and supports 3G and 2G networks along with WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.

Another highlighted aspect of Fonepad 7 (FE170CG) is the ASUS ZenUI that runs top of Android 4.3 JellyBean operating system, which according to company will be soon upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat.
