Ye Akashvani hai! Love to hear those words and a frequent listener of programmes on All India Radio. National Broadcaster and also the premier Public Service Broadcaster, All India Radio (AIR) has brought its arsenal of radio channels online with the launch of ‘All India Radio Live’ android mobile application.
All India Radio Live brings a range of Hindi, Urdu and some major Indian regional languages radio station for free live streaming. One can listen to those melodies songs from AIR FM Gold or tune to their favourite regional language stations. The app currently includes following AIR radio channels – AIR FM Gold, AIR FM Rainbow, AIR FM Vividh Bharati, AIR Urdu, AIR Gujarati, AIR Malayalam, AIR Marathi and AIR Punjabi. More radio stations will be added in the coming months.
Earlier AIR launched its first mobile application AIR News, that brings News stories from the AIR News network in India. It brings in both National and Regional news stories in text and audio format.
All India Radio Live currently available for Android devices only (can be downloaded from Google Play) and will soon be available on iOS, Windows and other platforms.
